Frimak Agency does vetting, background checks, training and placement of experienced workers — for homes and for businesses, in Nairobi and Naivasha. We are based in Westlands, and you are welcome to walk in.
Why we work this way
Usually it involves a reference that turned out to be a cousin, a certificate that turned out to be bought, or a person who simply did not come back after Christmas. Kenya's own Diplomatic Police Unit warns households that reference letters and police certificates are routinely forged — and that a certificate the candidate collects can be swapped before it reaches you.
None of that is exotic. It is what happens when nobody actually checks. So our method is not clever, it is just done properly and in the right order: we hold the original ID, we collect the police certificate ourselves, and we phone the last two employers rather than reading their letters.
Then we write it all down in a contract, because the second most common failure is not dishonesty. It is a job that quietly grew — an extra meal, a car to wash, a second household — that nobody agreed to pay for.
