Questions

What job seekers ask

How do I register, and what do I bring?

Registration happens in person at our Westlands office, Greenway Lane off Westlands Road. Walk in Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, or Saturday, 8:00am to 2:00pm — no appointment needed. Bring the items below. The visit takes about 30 minutes. If you have a question before you come, message us on WhatsApp or call 0716 947747.

Bring these. Without them we cannot register you.

  • Your original national ID. We look at it and hand it back. No waiting card, no photo of an ID.
  • One photocopy of your ID, which stays on your file.
  • Your CV, typed and printed. Where you worked, for how long, doing what.
  • KES 200 registration fee, paid once at the office.

Good to have. Bring them if you can.

  • A recommendation letter from a previous employer, or more than one.
  • Three referees with working phone numbers — former employers, not relatives. We call them, so warn them first.
  • Your Certificate of Good Conduct, if you already have a current one. If not, we apply for it with you; the government fee is passed on at cost and never marked up.

What happens on the day

  1. We check your ID against the copy and take your details.
  2. You pay the KES 200 registration fee.
  3. We talk through the roles you want and the hours, pay and areas that work for you.
  4. We call your referees and start the Good Conduct application if you need one.
  5. You go on our active list. We call you when a household or business matching your profile comes in.
Who pays for the Certificate of Good Conduct?

We apply for it and collect it. Speak to us about the government application fee before you start — we will be straight with you about what it costs and never mark it up.
